OLIVER KAHN revealed he regrets snubbing Manchester United.
Sir Alex Ferguson was on the trail of the Bayern Munich keeper 14 years ago.
He claims Fergie is still furious - but admits he made a big mistake.
Kahn, 48, told : "Alex Ferguson is still angry with me.
"He set out with the strong intention that I would join Manchester United in 2003 or 2004.
"But it was more important for me back then to make my mark on Bayern's successful era.
"However, in hindsight I think maybe I should have made the move.
"It would have been another attractive challenge for me."
Despite turning down United, Kahn bagged 22 trophies in his 14 years at Bayern including the Champions League, UEFA Cup and eight Bundesliga titles.

He played against United in the 1999 Champions League final when United pulled off their incredible win.
Kahn added: "I have stored the final against United away in my mind as a Champions League victory.
"I have simply erased the final two minutes from my memory."
