BRISTOL CITY manager Lee Johnson encapsulated the feelings of every Bristol City fan when he celebrated his side's stunning Carabao Cup upset with a nearby ball boy.

The Championship high-fliers beat the mighty Manchester United 2-1 to reach the semi-finals thanks to a last-gasp winner by Korey Smith.

And Johnson reacted by running down the touchline in celebration before spinning a ball boy around in mid-air in a moment of pure ecstasy.

This will go down as one of the great cup upsets.

A raucous Ashton Gate proved too much for England's most successful club as Bristol City ran out worthy winners.

Jose Mourinho could certainly not have been accused of taking this game lightly as he started the likes of Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
