JAMES MCCLEAN endured a nightmare start to 2018 after he was robbed of a £26,0000 watch while suffering a last-minute defeat with West Brom.
The Irishman put Alan Pardew’s Baggies ahead on 30 minutes but an Andy Carroll brace, the winner coming after 94 minutes, snatched all three points for West Ham.
While the Hammers were mounting that comeback, thieves were smashing their way into McClean’s house and burgling the young father.
The 28-year-old came home to the crime scene and slammed the robbers who had done their research and knew the Derry hardman was working away in London.
On his Instagram account, McClean wrote: "When you get home from a last min defeat and your house has been robbed.
"Thieving smelly b*****ds! Great night!”
that he had also lost a television in the raid and that the burglars had “wrecked the place”.

In November, Liverpool's Sadio Mane and Dejan Lovren were ransacked during a Champions League match.
And Everton ace Wayne Rooney had his luxurious family mansion hit during his Manchester United charity testimonial last year.
