Willian dropped by Chelsea after Dream Team rating of ’10’ last time out… and Twitter can’t believe it

Brazilian netted a penalty and bagged two assists as the Blues thrashed Stoke 5-0 at the weekend

WILLIAN is back where he usually is for Chelsea for their game against Arsenal tonight - on the bench.

This is despite him starring for the Blues last time out in the 5-0 thrashing of Stoke - and the world of social media can't believe it.

Willian scored from the penalty spot and bagged two assists against the struggling Potters.

He also achieved a Sun Dream Team rating of '10' - something that happens only once or twice a season.

But as Chelsea travel to take on London rivals Arsenal at the Emirates, Willian will be getting splinters from the bench yet again.

He has started only 11 games for the Blues this season, coming on as a sub 10 times.

One footie fan expressed his shock on Twitter at Willian being on the bench for "Conte to feed in people like Bakayoko that are absolutely useless."

Another slammed Conte for "going defensive" and said that "Willian should be starting".

Kieron Burrell added that dropping Willian "doesn't make sense" and then wrote "well done Arsenal" - seemingly accepting defeat before a ball is even kicked.

Twitter user "Soansie" wrote: "How Willian doesn't consistently start for Chelsea I do not know", while an Arsenal fan added that he was "perplexed" why he isn't a regular.
