WEST BROM are happy Jake Livermore’s head is right following his clash with a fan.
Livermore, 28, confronted a West Ham supporter who abused him during Tuesday’s game over the death of his infant son in 2014.
The England star waded into the crowd at the London Stadium to get at the culprit.
Hammers chiefs have identified the individual and are considering banning him.
Livermore tested positive for cocaine in May 2015 but the FA showed leniency and he escaped a ban.
Albion boss Alan Pardew is confident Livermore will make tomorrow’s FA Cup tie at Exeter.
Pardew said: “He’s OK. I’ll take him to Exeter with no concern really about his playing ability.
“He’s fit and well. He was hurt by the situation but the media have been very supportive and he’s found that a comfort.
“Anyone who has been through the trauma of losing a child would know the impact is massive.
“The FA are understanding of the situation. I don’t think there will be a charge.”
Relegation-haunted Albion, who have gone 20 games without a win, lost 2-1 at West Ham and are now four points adrift of safety.
