PHILIPPE COUTINHO was bought a Barcelona pad by new team-mate Luis Suarez - BEFORE his £145million transfer from Liverpool had been completed.
The Brazil star, 25, is to be unveiled at the Nou Camp today having flown to the Catalan city on Saturday.
And he has been spared the headache of house hunting thanks to ex-Reds pal Suarez, who he will be lining up alongside soon.
Coutinho, in an interview with the , revealed Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu asked Suarez, 30, which hotel he should put the midfielder up in upon his arrival.
But the Uruguay striker said: "No, presidente, there is no need for a hotel. I already have a house for him . . ."
Coutinho will join Suarez and Lionel Messi in the luxury suburb of Castelldefels - a moment's walk from the beach and 49-minute drive to the Nou Camp.
Suarez splashed out £2.6million on his own property in the neighbourhood in December 2014 just months after joining the club from Anfield.
Coutinho, who is moving to Spain with his wife Aine and children Maria and Philippe Jr, said: "He saw that a house next to his became available.

"He didn't know I was coming for certain but he liked the idea. It's a kind gesture.
"We've seen the pictures, the views look amazing.

"I know Luis will help us to feel at home."
Barca midfielder Ivan Rakitic last February revealed Messi had bought his neighbours' house because he "wanted to be alone".
Now, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner will be flanked by his two team-mates on and off the pitch.
