ARSENAL centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos could be set to make his fourth Premier League appearance.

The Greek defender and Shkodran are the only recognised central defenders at the Emirates at present due to injuries but Nacho Monreal and Granit Xhaka have both stepped in in the past.

Who is Konstantinos Mavropanos?

Mavropanos is a 20-year-old centre-back from Greece.

The defender was born in Athens, Greece and started his career at youth side Apollon Smyrni.

He then joined Superleague Greece side PAS Giannina in January 2016.

What has Emery said about Mavropanos?

Emery said: "He is working with us the last month and playing with the under 23s and he is ok.

"The first half, can work with him for the squad tomorrow.

"He is in the squad with the possibility to play."

How many games did he play for PAS Giannina?

THE 20 year-old joined the club on a three-and-a-half year deal and made his competitive debut in November 2016.

Mavropanos made a total of 16 league appearances and four Greek Cup appearances for the club.

On January 4 it was announced that he had joined Arsenal for an undisclosed fee.
