ROBIN VAN PERSIE is set to rejoin boyhood club Feyenoord.
The Dutch striker is currently playing in Turkey with Fenerbahce.
But he is now ready to return to the Netherlands and will undergo a medical tomorrow.
Voetbal claims Van Persie is finally set to call time on his Fenerbahce career after making just two appearances in the Super Lig this season.
Van Persie failed to win any silverware during his time in Istanbul.
And he will now be hoping to inspire Dutch champions Feyenoord back up the table as they look to close the huge gap on rivals Ajax and PSV Eindhoven.
Van Persie is of course best remembered for his time in the Premier League, spending eight seasons at Arsenal before playing at Manchester United for another three.
The 34-year-old scored 132 goals in 278 appearances for the north Londoners, but ended up winning just one trophy – the 2005 FA Cup.

Van Persie did manage to get his hands on the Premier League title with United though.
He scored an incredible 58 goals in just 105 appearances for the Red Devils, netting 26 league goals in his first season to lead the club’s title tilt.
