ARSENAL are reportedly 'very optimistic' they can sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this month.
The Gunners are set to sell Alexis Sanchez and could also lose Theo Walcott in the winter window.
But Spanish football expert Guillem Balague says the Gunners are confident they can seal a deal for £60million-rated Borussia Dortmund striker Aubameyang as a replacement.
He said: "Arsenal are going to go for a few signings in the next few days.
One they want to close and finalise is Aubameyang.
"They are willing to pay €60m (£53m) and they hope Borussia Dortmund accepts that.
