However, problems off the field led to the new manager declaring there was no place for their leading striker when given the job in December.

But a shocking run of form has seen Jemez attempt to recall his main striker, who has rejected the approach, insisting the boss lacks "b****".

Speaking to local paper , Remy said: "You can't get rid of two players on your first day at a new club for turning up one minute late.

"The manager treated as if I were a piece of s***.

"He won't even speak to me. I spoke to president and he came to speak to us all.

"He [Jemez] didn't have the b**** to come to my face and say: 'I don't want you because of this, this and this', and it finish there.

"I'm not the type to cause problems — I wouldn't have fought with him."
