BRIGHTON have smashed their club transfer record by agreeing a £14million fee for PSV Eindhoven hotshot Jurgen Locadia.
Locadia, 24, who can play as a central striker or out wide, is set to undergo a medical with the Seagulls on Friday.
If that is successful he will then pen a four-year contract with the South Coast club.
The Holland Under-21 international was close to joining Wolves in the summer.
But SV pulled the plug at the 11th hour.
Locadia has scored 62 goals in 176 games for PSV.

The fee eclipses their side’s previous record fee of £13.5m for Columbian wide-man Jose Izquierdo.
Manager Chris Hughton has been desperate to sign a striker since the summer after moves for Florin Andone and Vincent Janssen fell through.
Meanwhile, winger Soufyan Ahannach is leaving the Amex on loan to Sparta Rotterdam until the end of the season.
They signed him from Dutch side Almere City in August 2017.

Hughton said: “Soufyan was brought in initially as a member of the development squad, and to be pushing to breakthrough into the first-team squad, but he has found those opportunities limited.
“This loan move offers him the chance to go and play regular first-team football with Sparta Rotterdam in the top division in the Dutch League.
"It is a good move for all parties - the two clubs, but most importantly Soufyan, and this will help his ongoing development.”
