ENGLAND’S top clubs have begged Premier League bosses to crack down on super agents holding them to ransom.
Skyrocketing pay demands and commissions trousered by player representatives have sparked alarm in the game.
Now clubs want league chiefs to investigate the role of middle-men in deals — and bring in tougher new regulations.
Super-agent Mino Raiola’s crazy £41MILLION commission in Paul Pogba’s 2016 move to Manchester United led to a Fifa investigation, which cleared the Prem giants.
Clubs paid a huge £174.2m in agent fees that summer and in the following window.
This month will also see plenty of cash hoovered up by the likes of Fernando Felicevich, who represents Alexis Sanchez and could pocket £15m from getting his client to Old Trafford.

Premier League bosses could look at enforcing a cap on agents’ commission at three per cent of the player’s wages over his contract.
A Premier League source said: “Clubs are concerned at fees and the control agents have in deals.”
