Everton looking to grab Chelsea’s Baba Rahman or Patrick van Aanholt from Crystal Palace
EVERTON'S need for left-back cover for Leighton Baines has led to further enquiries for Chelsea's Baba Rahman and Crystal Palace's Patrick van Aanholt.
l reports that the Toffees may find themselves in a tug-of-war with Schalke over Rahman.
The 23-year-old is open to a return to the Bundesliga and reports that he is set to join them on loan.
Van Aanholt, 29, played for Everton manager Sam Allardyce previously at Sunderland and Palace.
The South Londers have an interest in Everton striker Oumar Niasse so perhaps the clubs could come to some kind of swap deal arrangement.
Baba, meanwhile, joined the Blues in 2015 but has endured a miserable spell at Stamford Bridge, making just 15 Premier League appearances.
