PAUL POGBA does NOT have a pay parity clause in his Manchester United contract to boost his wages alongside Alexis Sanchez.
The French midfielder and his agent Mino Raiola had demanded the stipulation when he returned to Old Trafford for £89million.
His mega-deal had made him the highest paid player in the United squad at a staggering £300,000-per-week.
But despite being a world superstar, Pogba will not take home any extra cash to put him alongside the ex-Barcelona ace.
It is understood Sanchez will also bag a huge signing on fee of around £30m over the course of his deal.
An Old Trafford source said: "The club were smart enough not to agree to the pay parity clause.
"Mino tried his luck when Pogba came back here to make sure he was always the highest earner at the club.
"The club held there nerve and refused the request, fearing the wage bill could get out-of-hand if others came in.
