Jack Wilshere proves he has future Arsenal captain potential as he gives young fan shirt holding up place card

Youngster held up a place card during the game with a Superman shirt and the message: 'Can I have your shirt please Jack'

JACK WILSHERE made a youngster's day after Arsenal sealed their spot in the Carabao Cup final.

Arsene Wenger has backed the midfielder to become captain of the club if he signs a new contract.

And Wilshere showed why he is regarded as a future leader by granting the youngster his wish after the 2-1 win over Chelsea at The Emirates on Wednesday.

The fan held up a place card during the game with a Superman shirt and the message: "Can I have your shirt please Jack".

Wilshere, 26, then came up with the goods after most of the other players had left the pitch.

The England ace headed over to a section of the stadium close to the corner flag at full-time.

He then took off his shirt and handed it to the beaming youngster.

It capped a super night for the fan as Granit Xhaka's strike fired the Gunners through to the final.

They will face now Manchester City at Wembley on February 25, after Pep Guardiola's side got the better of Bristol City in the other semi-final.

The Gunners have won the FA Cup seven times under Arsene Wenger but they are yet to win a League Cup.
