Yeovil vs Manchester United: Martin Keown slated for ‘bias’ commentary when talking about Alexis Sanchez
The BBC pundit and Arsenal legend had Twitter users accusing him of being bitter about the Chilean's transfer during the FA Cup clash
MARTIN KEOWN has been accused of being bitter over Alexis Sanchez's move to Manchester United.
The Arsenal legend was commentating on the FA Cup clash and the Chilean's debut against Yeovil on the BBC.
Keown reiterated his stance that Sanchez is a mercanary for snubbing Manchester City and joining United on £505,000-a-week wages.
Keown told BBC: ‘It looked like Alexis Sanchez would go to Man City after he decided he was leaving Arsenal.
"I felt he was going for the money and he was a bit of a mercenary. You could go to United for many reasons but he was being chased by City for 18 months.
"For him to go to United, it had to be about the money. I don’t understand why he didn’t go to the best team and Man City are that at the moment."
And fans on Twitter felt Keown could not let his anger at the situation go as Sanchez set up Marcus Rashford for the opener in the first half.
Twitter user @ewanmalcs said: "Martin Keown is so bitter about Sanchez."
