Jonny Evans to Arsenal: Fans joke West Brom defender will fit right in after error that led to Roberto Firmino goal
The 30-year-old defender was at fault for Liverpool's early goal at Anfield and Twitter had some fun at his expense
JONNY EVANS' transfer value may have just gone down after a misjudgement proved fatal against Liverpool.
The Arsenal target gifted Jurgen Klopp's men an early goal in the FA Cup fourth round tie at Anfield on Saturday night.
Evans didn't deal with a long, aimless Liverpool ball forward and instead presumed the goalkeeper would collect the loose ball.
Mo Salah was quick on the scene and presented with a golden opportunity which Ben Foster saved.

But Roberto Firmino followed up to score for Liverpool much to Evans' frustration.
The defender is a £25m transfer target for Arsenal, and some joked that Evans' error means he would be a good fit for the Gunners.
One Twitter user wrote: "Why are we linked with Jonny Evans? Shocking we have enough defenders that make mistakes."
Another social media post read: "Jonny Evans auditioning for Arsenal by playing like of their defenders."
