REAL MADRID turned down the chance to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for over £8million less than Arsenal, according to reports.

Aubameyang missed a team meeting and was suspended by the club which lead to him being left out of matchday squads.
And the former France Under-21s international a history of disciplinary problems.
He was sanctioned for punctuality problems in November last year and also reprimanded for taking an unapproved trip to Milan in 2016.
And that is reportedly why Real refused to gamble on Aubameyang, allowing Arsenal to land the striker.
Auabmeyang was consistently linked with a move to the Bernabeu and even spoke previously of his love for the club.

But now he is at Arsenal on a long-term contract and claimed he wanted to emulate Thierry Henry at the Emirates.
Aubameyang said: "The club has such a big history and great players like Thierry Henry. He's an example for us strikers. I'm a fast player and I score goals too, like Henry a little bit. I think I have to work a lot to be like him, but I will do."
