ARSENE WENGER hinted £60million mistake Alexis Sanchez is on over £600,000 per week at Manchester United.

The Gunners boss reportedly admitted he should have accepted Manchester City's bid last August in a Q&A session with executive box holders.

And according to , the Frenchman pointed to the ceiling when asked if rumours of Sanchez's £600,000-a-week deal were true.

Wenger, 68, snubbed City's last-ditch offer in the summer window after failing to land Thomas Lemar as a replacement.

And Sanchez, 29, ended up at Old Trafford in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
