Sevilla ex-boss Eduardo Berizzo ‘recovering well’ in battle against prostrate cancer

FORMER Sevilla head coach Eduardo Berizzo is recovering well after treatment for prostate cancer.
report the club have released an update on the condition on the man who lost his job three days before Christmas.
That was almost a month after undergoing surgery.
The 48-year Argentinian Berizzo had led Sevilla to fifth place in La Liga and into the Champions League knockout stages.
A knockout stage match Manchester United awaits later this month after Berizzo was dismissed for what Sevilla called a "bad run."
But the club were keen to post good news surrounding his health.

Meanwhile, Olivier Giroud has revealed that Sevilla were one of a number of clubs keen to sign him.
The French striker eventually chose to leave Arsenal for Chelsea after also turning down offers from Borussia Dortmund and Roma.
Giroud told : "Sevilla were interested. But when Antonio Conte told me he was counting on me, my choice was made.
