Manchester United fans fume as chancers sell free Munich Air Disaster gift mementos on eBay
Supporters at Old Trafford for Saturday's Prem clash with Huddersfield were handed free special edition gifts by the club to mark the 60th anniversary of the tragedy
MANCHESTER UNITED supporters are furious after several opportunists have attempted to cash in on gift mementos from the Munich Air Disaster.
The Red Devils marked the 60th anniversary of the plane crash, which killed 23 people - eight of them footballers, ahead of Saturday's Prem clash with Huddersfield.
A special edition match programme was produced by the club.
And a pin badge plus commemorative book about the disaster was handed out free of charge to fans.
But a number of online sellers have caused outrage after attempting to flog the memorabilia for a huge profit on line.
One seller on eBay was even attempting to get almost £100 for the whole collection.
Angry United followers have taken to social media to vent their fury.
One said: "Would love to smack some of the people selling them Munich tributes on eBay.
