MANCHESTER UNITED had cops at their training ground this morning - to stop rowdy fans hunting for autographs.
At least two officers were spotted on the private back road used by United's stars driving in their fleet of luxury supercars to Carrington.
It is understood a small number of enthusiastic supporters have been trying to stop players on their way in and out of the complex.
United did not call the police themselves, but are aware of the officers making a sweep of the lane.
A source said: "There was a police presence as the players arrived this morning.
"Some overzealous fans have been parking on the road near Carrington which has caused problems."
Alexis Sanchez arrived to United in his plush black Bentley, as he searches for a new house to purchase in the area.
He looked focused as Jose Mourinho's side prepare to face Newcastle on Sunday.
Ander Herrera was also present, covering up as he was driven in by pal Juan Mata.
