AC MILAN are interested in signing former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay from Lyon, according to reports in Italy.

The Dutchman, 23, has shown glimpses of brilliance since moving to Ligue 1 in January 2017.

Having improved at Lyon a deal for the Dutchman would not be cheap — and Milan are unlikely to be able to offer him Champions League football next term.

However, should they pull of the deal, he would be the second former United No 7 to join the club after David Beckham's two loan spells in 2009 and 2010.
