AC Milan interested in signing former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay from Lyon

AC MILAN are interested in signing former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay from Lyon, according to reports in Italy.

The Dutchman, 23, has shown glimpses of brilliance since moving to Ligue 1 in January 2017.

Last month, he hit a sensational last-minute winner as Lyon beat runaway leaders Paris Saint-Germain 2-1.

And report his form has alerted the Rossoneri, who are interested in signing someone who can play on the left wing.

Milan have had success recently in improving the careers of wingers who have struggled in the Premier League.

Having improved at Lyon a deal for the Dutchman would not be cheap — and Milan are unlikely to be able to offer him Champions League football next term.

However, should they pull of the deal, he would be the second former United No 7 to join the club after David Beckham's two loan spells in 2009 and 2010.
