Cutrone got the visitors off to the perfect start as he rifled the ball low inside the right post in just the second minute.

SPAL nearly stunned Milan late in the first half as Federico Viviani rattled the post with a ferocious drive from outside the box.

But it was that man Cutrone again who essentially put the game to bed as he slotted home Milan's second in the 65th minute.

Not long after, Biglia eliminated all doubt as he scored the Gennaro Gattuso's side's third of the day to all-but guarantee Milan a crucial three points.

Despite the comfortable win, the big-spending side still sit seventh in Serie A, 24 points behind league-leading Juventus after 24 games.
