JACK BUTLAND is a £40million target for Liverpool and Arsenal.
Kop boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to make Butland his No 1 next season.
But the Stoke keeper is also wanted by Gunners manager Arsene Wenger to replace 35-year-old Petr Cech.
The two clubs will go head to head in the summer to land the England goalkeeper, who has made no secret of his ambition to play at the highest level.
Klopp has axed Simon Mignolet as his No1 and the Belgian is ready to quit Anfield after showdown talks with his boss last month.
Loris Karius has been in goal for Premier League games since New Year’s Day but there have been doubts about the German too.
