Man City star Bernardo Silva reveals battered and bruised feet as he’s mocked by team-mate Benjamin Mendy

Silva's pride was dented last night at the hands of FA Cup giantkillers Wigan - and so were his feet

IF you are one of those people who "hates feet" then look away now.

Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy decided to share a photo of team-mate Bernardo Silva's bruised feet on social media.

Not only was the Portuguese midfielder on the end of an FA Cup giantkilling last night at the hands of Wigan, but he was left with some reminders of the tough battle.

And clearly Mendy was not a big fan of what he saw in front of him in the medical room.

The Frenchman added the "being sick" and "feeling ill" emojis to a series of photos posted online.

And City boss Pep Guardiola will be hoping his midfield maestro can recover from the heavy bruising.

It will be a worry for Pep Guardiola if Silva's feet are badly bruised - he has appeared in more games than any other player

That's because Silva has played more games that ANY other player at the Etihad.

The Portuguese ace, 23, has been limited to something of a bench role this season having joined from Ligue 1 champions Monaco in a £43million deal in the summer.

Yet despite that fact, Silva has played 39 times, more even than Belgian superstar Kevin De Bruyne - who has played a still impressive 38 times.

During those games, Silva has played an important role, scoring five times and adding nine assists - still comfortably behind KDB.
