THOMAS MULLER and Robert Lewandowski doubled up to tonk the ten-man Turks as Bayern dictated this Champions League last-16 first leg.

Munich's most feared marskmen struck twice apiece as Besiktas were outplayed once defender Domagoj Vida saw red early on for bringing down goalbound Lewandowski.

Muller bagged a close-range opener on the rebound just before the break.

Then, just after Lewandowski hit the post, Muller freed the same Polish striker for a pull-back hammered home by Kingsley Coman on 52 minutes.

Muller tucked in his second and Bayern's third at the near-post midway through the second period.

And Lewandowski then made Bayern overwhelming favourites to reach the quarter-finals by notching a brace of his own late on.

He slotted home  after Fabri tipped out a deflected shot from Mats Hummels.

And he completed the rout by stabbing in after Muller unselfishly teed him up.

Besiktas had begun confidently enough, perhaps buoyed by winning all three of their Group G away games to reach this knockout stage.

Vagner Love fired high from a one-one-one and Bayern keeper Sven Ulreich smartly foiled Ricardo Quaresma at his near post.

But Jupp Heynckes' men were far too strong with a man advantage, firing in 35 shots, compared to six for Besiktas.
