Emery, 46, said: "I'm not a doctor, the club doctor simply told me that Neymar is sick.

"Neymar is sick, I hope that he will be well enough to train on Saturday and then play on Sunday.

"It wasn't an injury issue, it was gastroenteritis and some fever, similar to what Lass Diarra had yesterday."

Neymar, 26, who has scored 19 goals this season, was sent off for headbutting Lucas Ocampos at Marseille in October.

PSG are running away with the league and are 13 points ahead of third-placed Marseille.

And having won every home game this season, Emery is relaxed going into the fixture.

He said: "When we play at home, I'm always calm.

"I always prefer to play at home.

"The players feel something special when they are in the Parc des Princes."
