The first domestic final of the season has been concluded.

Arsenal took on Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.

It was Manchester City who dominated the game and went on to ease to a 3-0 triumph.

Sergio Aguero opened the scoring in the 18th minute after some tame defending by Shkodran Mustafi.

City then dominated proceedings

Vincent Kompany added a second in the 58th minute and then David Silva rolled in a third seven minutes later.

The result means City's hopes of securing the treble this season remain intact.

Pep Guardiola's side are 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League and hold a 4-0 lead from the first leg against Swiss side Basel.

They play Basel at the Etihad in the second leg on Wednesday 7 March.
