NEMANJA MATIC has hailed Scott McTominay as “amazing”.
Manchester United’s academy whizkid McTominay, 21, has forced his way into the first team with some dominant displays.
He was even selected ahead of £89million record-signing Paul Pogba for last week’s Champions League clash in Sevilla.
Two more run-outs against Huddersfield and Chelsea have seen him nominated for United’s player of the month — alongside David De Gea and Romelu Lukaku.
After their 2-1 comeback win over Chelsea on Sunday, Matic, 29, said: “He is amazing.
“He is 21 and to play like that and control the game like that is impressive. He will be a big player for Manchester United.

McTominay’s dazzling displays have also led to an international tug-of-war, with England and Scotland eyeing up the midfielder — the Lancaster-born player has Scottish ancestry through his grandparents.
And Three Lions international and United team-mate Chris Smalling is also impressed with McTominay’s rise through the ranks.
He added: “He's been training with us for quite a while, even last season.
“But he's been sort of thrust into some big games, be it Seville or here, and he's not phased.
“You can see him crunching into tackles and that's what we do in training. He goes through people. It's good that he's stepped up to his mark.”
