Raheem Sterling picks up bargains at Primark with girlfriend Paige Milian despite his £180k-a-week wages

RAHEEM STERLING has few reasons to be cheap but plenty of reasons to be cheerful.

The £180,000-a-week attacker is enjoying his best ever season as Manchester City close on the Premier League title and England prepare for the World Cup.

But unlike the typical image of multi-millionaire players in designer labels, Sterling is also happy shopping in Poundland and wearing clothes from budget store Primark.

Long-term girlfriend Paige Milian is an outspoken lover of the popular chain.

And Sterling's wardrobe has been boosted by a £32 treble when Paige went to the Manchester branch.

The former Liverpool hero, 23, is now the owner of a £2 T-shirt, £14 hoodie and £16 pair of jogging bottoms.

She said: “I’m not gonna lie: I love a bargain.

“Some of you are probably thinking: Why are you going on about Primark? Is she trying to prove something? Primark is my favourite shop, it has been since I was a kid.

“I know I’m wearing Gucci on my feet now but it doesn’t mean my outfits have to be Gucci from head to toe.

But Paige does admit she has to be careful about one thing with Raheem's clothes.

She told her vlog viewers: “He usually does wear size small but I’ve started to buy him medium-large now because he blames me when his clothes shrink.

"It’s the washing machine, not me.”
