PEP GUARDIOLA is set to join the race for teenage Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon.
Tottenham and Manchester United were leading the chase for the 17-year-old after his stunning Championship form.
But City will compete for the teenager, who is set to cost more than £40million, as they do not want to miss out on one of the hottest properties in Europe.
Sessegnon has hit double-figure for goals this season and has been likened to Gareth Bale after starting as a left-back.
The youngster, like Bale, is now impressing further up the field and has caught the eye of top clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Fulham are braced for a summer bid for their prized asset but financially do not need to sell and can hold out for an incredible offer.
