Manchester United want Wolves ace Ruben Neves as Ander Herrera replacement

AC Milan are plotting a summer swoop for the Spaniard while Jose Mourinho has turned his attention to the Championships most expensive player

JOSE MOURINHO has set his sights on Wolverhampton youngster Ruben Neves, according to reports.

The Portuguese boss has already identified his midfield as an area of need when the window re-opens with Ander Herrera’s likely exit.

The 20-year-old has caught the eye of his compatriot Mourinho during his impressive stint at Wolves, according to Spanish outlet .

Neves moved from Porto last summer for a Championship record fee of £15million and has been in fine form scoring four goals.

The Portugal international paired with Romain Saiss in the midfield has been an integral part of Wolves success this season and United may encounter some competition by summer.

He becomes the latest of a long list of players to become a possible replacement for Herrera.
