JOSE MOURINHO had more than just the result to worry about after taking a tumble during Manchester United's clash at Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils came from two goals down to seal a dramatic victory in injury-time on an action-packed night at Selhurst Park.
But Nemanja Matic's last-gasp thunderbolt not only secured the much-needed points for the Portuguese coach, but also helped him to forget an embarrassing moment of his own.
Andros Townsend had fired Palace ahead during the first half before Patrick van Aanholt doubled the advantage after the break.
And things looked like they could not get any worse for Mourinho after Sky's cameras caught him falling over midway through the second period.
Jose saw the funny side and immediately tried to laugh off the incident.
Unfortunately for him a lot of the raucous home supporters spotted it too - and they wasted no time in letting him know.
But luckily for the ex-Chelsea boss his men managed to turn-around what would have been an all-round dreadful night in remarkable circumstances.
Chris Smalling got them back into it with a header before Romelu Lukaku kept his cool to fire United level.
And then Matic broke the hearts of Palace in the dying seconds to seal the amazing comeback.
That result left Mourinho and his men in second spot.
They are two points ahead of this weekend's opponents at Old Trafford Liverpool.
Despite the victory, the Red Devils are still 16 points behind neighbours and champions-elect City.
