ALEXIS SANCHEZ arrived into Man United training today after spending time comforting his girlfriend after she discovered her aunt's husband had shot her dead.
Concepcion Arregui had disappeared without trace on February 5, leading to Sanchez's partner Mayte Rodriguez issuing an appeal, along with her mother Carolina Arregui.
But in a tragic twist, Concepcion's husband Roberto Audano, 70, has confessed to killing her and burying her body.
Police are now searching in hills near the Argentine city of Mendoza, where she was supposed to set out from to head to her native Chile.
Argentinian Audano has been arrested on suspicion of homicide.
Rodriguez uploaded a photo of a rose onto her Instagram account, alongside a moving tribute after hearing the news.
Translated from Spanish, it read: "Us women, who carry human beings in their wombs and feed them in their first days of life and promise unconditional love for ever. Fragile and sweet.
“At the same time capable of enduring the strongest pain.

The focus on Concepcion's disapearance turned to Audano, said to have asked his wife for a divorce after just a year of marriage, when investigators found no CCTV footage of her at the bus station.
Two pistols and two shotguns were found during a search of his home after his Tuesday night confession to police.
Police are now focusing their search on an area near Potrilleros in the Andean foothills, a short drive from Mendoza.
Forensic experts are also reported to have found traces of blood in Audano’s truck.
Concepcion’s niece Daniela Torrealba said: “We demand the truth and justice - her happiness has been stolen from us.”
