Chelsea lead Manchester United and Real Madrid in race for Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski
Poland international has employed Roman Abramovich's friend Pini Zahavi as his new agent reportedly because he wants a move to the Premier League
CHELSEA are reportedly in pole position to sign Robert Lewandowski in the summer, after the Poland superstar signed up with super agent Pini Zahavi.
The Bayern Munich forward signed a five-year deal with the Bundesliga giants after he left on a free from Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and after an extension has a further three years to go.
Bayern would be reluctant to sell Lewandowski, who has netted 139 goals for the club, but the change of agent hints that he fancies a move to England.
Super agent Zahavi has counted the likes of Rio Ferdinand as his clients, but he has had most success as a middle man, helping broker deals for Jaap Stam to Lazio and the purchase of Juan Sebastian Veron to Manchester United.
He also helped Roman Abramovich purchase Chelsea in 2003 and the 74-year-old clearly still has the business acumen to land big names, .
