JOSE MOURINHO has slammed Manchester United legend Gary Neville for flopping as a manager.
Red Nev failed during a brief spell as Valencia head coach two years ago — but that has not stopped him and other TV pundits laying into Mourinho.
But ahead of today’s crunch game with Liverpool, the United boss said: “Some of the guys with an opinion couldn’t resolve their own problems when they were managers.
“So they give opinions like they have solutions for everything but it’s not like that. They are in a position where they can give opinions about everything — sometimes I read and listen, sometimes I don’t.
“This week I was more focused on enjoying Champions League and Europa League games and preparing for my match than to be focused on opinions.”
Former Old Trafford skipper Rio Ferdinand jokingly drew attention to his words by tweeting ‘Hear, hear Jose’ with a laughing emoji.
