Arsenal face injury agony for crucial AC Milan return after Shkrodan Mustafi limps out of Watford win
Centre-back headed home the opening goal for the Gunners but was withdrawn on 73 minutes
ARSENAL face a fitness race to get goal-scoring defender Shkodran Mustafi back in time for AC Milan after he limped out of the Watford win.
The centre-back headed home the opening goal for the Gunners and helped them keep the Hornets out until he was withdrawn on 73 minutes.
Mustafi, 25, put the Gunners ahead after six minutes, heading home unopposed from Mesut Ozil’s free-kick to ease any fears within the ground.
Centre-half Laurent Koscielny was rested for the Premier League clash but full-backs Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal are out injured.
Spain star Bellerin is currently out of action for Arsenal after picking up a knee injury in training.
And Monreal limped out during the first-half of the Gunners' embarrassing 3-0 Carabao Cup final loss to Manchester City.
