VINNIE JONES has warned "cowardly" Jamie Carragher he would have chased him, dragged him out of his car and knocked seven bells out of him had he spat at his daughter.
Shocking footage emerged of TV pundit and Liverpool legend Carragher spitting in the face of a 14-year-old girl after her father teased him about Manchester United's 2-1 win over the Reds on Saturday.
Carragher, 40, is thought to earn more than £1million a year working at Sky Sports in the role he landed after retiring from football in 2013.
He has been axed from covering United's Champions League clash against Sevilla tomorrow night by Danish channel TV3 Sport.
Showdown talks with Sky are set to take place today over his future.
Speaking on his weekly Monday slot on 's Alan Brazil's Sports Breakfast with Alan and Joey Barton, the former footie hardman Jones, 53, blasted: "It is cowardly.

A Sky Sports spokesperson said: "It’s unacceptable behaviour and we will be addressing it with Jamie."
TalkSPORT pundit Joey Barton also believes Carragher is likely to face the axe from Sky, calling his reaction "absolute madness".
Police can bring assault charges over spitting - or prosecute as a public order offence.
Former England defender Carragher claimed he had been "goaded" by the family and apologised for spitting.
He tweeted: "Totally out of order and I've apologised personally to all the family this evening.
"I was goaded three/four times along the motorway while being being filmed and lost my rag. No excuse apologies."
Carragher was due to appear as a pundit on Monday Night Football to analyse Stoke's home clash against Manchester City.
But that will now depend on the outcome of today's meetings.
