Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey urges team-mates to put on show against AC Milan to get fans back into empty Emirates
Welshman wants bums in seats after two home games where thousands of fed up fans stayed away from the North Londoners' stadium
AARON RAMSEY has told Arsenal they must perform on the pitch if they want to fill the empty Emirates.
A run of terrible form that saw the Gunners lose four games in a row for the first time in 16 years saw fans angered more than ever at the club.
And thousands of the Gunners faithful stayed away from the home games against Manchester City and Watford.
Arsene Wenger’s men have since bounced back with a win over Watford and away to AC Milan in the Europa League.
The Gunners face Milan again in the second-leg with a 2-0 lead and Ramsey wants his team-mates to put on a show to get bums back in seat.
Ramsey said: “Hopefully there weren’t be so many empty seats, hopefully our performances on the pitch will encourage everyone to come back.
“We needed the result in Milan, it was a tough run for us. Sometimes these things just happen.
“Hopefully we can build on it and go from strength to strength.

“It’s up to us to give everything we can tomorrow to ensure that we’re in the hat for the next round.”
Wenger revealed some of his players underwent tests this morning but he only has Alexandre Lacazette missing through injury.
Some players had tests this morning and everyone is available except Lacazette.
“He is back in training soon. He is on track. He had a full session outside today.
“He should be available after the break.”
