HARRY KANE will be out of action for at least a month after a scan revealed he suffered ankle ligament damage at Bournemouth on Sunday.
The Tottenham striker went off injured in the first half of his team’s 4-1 victory over the Cherries.
He was due to have a scan yesterday but his ankle was too swollen for it to be done.
As he can not currently drive, Kane's wife dropped him off on Wednesday morning and team-mate Danny Rose dropped him home afterwards.
However, he was able to have a scan today and club spokesman said: “Preliminary assessments have confirmed that Harry has damaged lateral ligaments in his right ankle.”
The spokesman added: “He is expected to return to first team training next month.”

Kane said on social media: "Disappointing to be out until next month but injuries are part of the game.
"Will do everything I can to get back out there asap."
That means Kane will not be included in the England squad for this month’s World Cup warm-ups against Holland and Italy.
He will also definitely miss Tottenham’s FA Cup quarter-final at Swansea on Saturday and their Premier League trips to Chelsea and Stoke next month.
Matches Harry Kane is likely to miss
FA Cup: Swansea (a), March 17
Premier League: Chelsea (a), April 1
Premier League: Stoke (a), April 7
Premier League: Man City (h), April 14
Premier League: Brighton (a), April 20*
Premier League: Watford (h) April 30

While he faces a race against time to be fit for Spurs’ top clash at home to Manchester City on April 14.
He is also a doubt for their trip to Brighton the following week as well as the visit of Watford at the end of the month.
However, he will be fit for this summer’s World Cup.
