Lionel Messi continues baby hot streak AND breaks own personal best with goal against Chelsea in Champions League
Barcelona star needed just 128 seconds to break the deadlock in his first game back since the birth of Ciro
THERE'S nothing quite like a new bundle of joy in your life - especially if you are Lionel Messi.
The 30-year-old Barcelona superstar and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo welcomed baby Ciro into the world last week.
That was the couple's third child as the new born joins brothers Thiago, five, and Mateo, two, in the Messi clan.
But the sleepless nights are not having any effect on the Argentinian.
The striker scored in his first game back after becoming a father to Thiago back in 2012.
He followed that up with another immediate strike in 2015 after Mateo entered the world.
And he did the business again in honour of Ciro against Chelsea on Wednesday at the Nou Camp.
With the scores tied at 1-1 heading into the Champions League last-16 clash, Messi needed little time to make his mark.

In fact, he even broke his own record as broke the deadlock after only 128 seconds.
That goal against Antonio Conte's side was the fastest he has scored in his entire club and international career.
LATEST LIONEL MESSI NEWS
Week-by-week Messi just seems to get better and better with age - and his night peaked further with another strike in the second half as he claimed his 100th goal in the competition.
And perhaps this next stat is further evidence that is the case.
The Barca hitman scored the opener past Thibaut Courtois with his right foot - the first time he has bagged in Europe's premier competition with that boot since December 2015.
His 18 goals inbetween were all with his left.
Childhood sweethearts Messi and Roccuzzo married in June last year in a lavish ceremony in their hometown of Rosario.
