Getting testy

Chelsea star Alvaro Morata shakes his genitals at Barcelona fans after constant goading

Former Real Madrid star lost his temper with the Catalan crowd during Blues' 3-0 defeat at Nou Camp

ALVARO MORATA shook his genitals at Barcelona fans after their constant goading.

The former Real Madrid striker was booed when he replaced Olivier Giroud in the 67th minute at the Nou Camp.

Jeers continued to ring out so much that during a corner Morata, 25, wiggled his privates at the home supporters.

Spanish journalists called for the Chelsea star to be punished.

Jota Jordi, working as a pundit on El Chiringuito TV, blasted: “Morata’s gesture looks intentional. I hope he’ll be punished.”

His colleague, Paco Garcia Caridad, added: “There is no mitigation. It’s Chelsea who has to punish Morata.”

Alvaro Morata celebrates scoring a goal for old club Real Madrid

Morata spent five years at Real Madrid over two spells, scoring once against Barcelona’s B team in 2013.

Much of his time in Madrid was spent on the bench and Blues boss Antonio Conte opted to leave him out of his starting XI last night.

He explained: “When you take this decision to play with Eden, Willian and a striker as a point of reference, you must be very good to have a great balance and not lose this balance.

“I saw great commitment from all the players, who wanted to play with all our potential.”

Morata has not scored since December.

But speaking before last night’s match, Conte urged supporters to have patience with the Spain forward.

He said: “Don’t forget, for Morata, this is the first full season in his career.

“Also because, in the past, with Real Madrid and Juventus, he was on the bench. He was the first substitution if the striker was injured.

“For this reason, I think we must have great patience.

“For sure, he is a really important prospect for Chelsea, for the present and the future.”

Morata was unable to inspire the Blues to victory at the Nou Camp.

Lionel Messi twice nutmegged Thibaut Courtois and Ousmane Dembele scored his first Barcelona goal to send the Catalan club into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
