JACK WILSHERE can expect an England recall when Gareth Southgate names his squad for two pre-World Cup friendlies today.
The rejuvenated Arsenal midfielder, 26, has not played international football since England's Euro 2016 loss to Iceland.
England play Holland at Wembley a week on Friday and face Italy, also at home, on Tuesday, March 27.
Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger fully expects his man to win a recall.
Wenger said: "The vibes I get are positive. I believe he has a good chance to be in there, but we have to leave that to Gareth Southgate. I have enough to do with my job."
Among the uncapped players looking to land call-ups are Callum Wilson, Glenn Murray and Ashley Barnes.
