Manchester United star Paul Pogba celebrates 25th birthday by asking 6.9million Facebook followers to donate to charity
The £89million midfielder asked his fans to give money to Save the Children after spending his special day with family and friends
PAUL POGBA has asked his 6.9million Facebook followers to help celebrate his 25th birthday by donating to charity.
The Manchester United star hit a quarter of a century yesterday and used the occasion to get people to give to Save the Children.
Pogba created a on the social media site and told his fans he hoped that "together we can make a difference".
The £89million midfielder said: "Wow I'm 25 now!
"Happy to celebrate my birthday with the ones I love. I am well aware of the many blessings in my life and that unfortunately it is not the same for everybody.
"This is why for my birthday I invite all of you to join and donate to Save the Children. Any bit help, from $5 to $1,000.

Pogba — who once gave £88,209 to the Red Cross while at Juventus — spent his birthday with his family and walked into a house full of balloons while carrying his own cake.

And yet again the French international spent time dancing with his brothers to see who had the better moves.
Pogba — who is on an estimated £350,000-a-week — is not the only United star to be deeply involved with charity work.
Juan Mata fronts the Common Goal charity which calls on players to donate one per cent of their wages to the cause.
The fund is run by Berlin-based organisation streetfootballworld which invests in football-based charities around the world.
And United players attended the club's annual Gala in aid of Unicef in November of last year.
