TOTTENHAM were left fuming after Heung-Min Son saw his 'goal' disallowed despite a VAR review.
The South Korean striker was put in behind the Swansea defence, took a sublime touch and fired into the net.
But the linesman flag was up for offside and referee Kevin Friend called on the video assistant referee for the first time in the match.
The lines showing whether Son was offside or not on the TV looked inconclusive as they decided the original decision was correct.
Manchester United star Juan Mata had a 'goal' disallowed for offside last month against Huddersfield - but replays showed wobbly lines.
The decision has again fired up debate on social media about VAR with fans divided on if it was the correct decision or not.
Twitter user Joshjayallison said: "What is the point of VAR???? They check the video and he’s onside...."
And @Sevilla_Spurs agreed, saying: "Need VAR for the VAR decisions! Clearly showed Son was level and therefor ONSIDE! If they can’t get this right give up..."
@EFT2008 went even further: "Even VAR hates #Tottenham. How many good goals are we going to have disallowed? World Cup is going to be ruined #COYS."
Spurs lead 2-0 after Christian Eriksen curled in the opener after 11 minutes and Erik Lamela doubled that just before half-time.
