Dembele, 30, wants to push towards the £100,000-a-week mark after his dazzling displays this year.

Tottenham are also keen on Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Amadou Haidara.

The Mali international, 20, has caught the eye in this season’s run to the Europa League quarter-finals.

The Austrian side signed Haidara from Malian outfit JMG Academy Bamako two years ago and he has broken into the first team.
