FORMER Manchester United flop Memphis Depay scored a 90th minute winner as Lyon beat Marseille 3-2 in a thrilling game at the Orange Velodrome.
The result sees Lyon move within two points of third-place Marseille, blowing the race for Ligue 1’s final Champions League spot wide open.
The game got off to a lively start but it was Marseille who took the lead through Rolando after 31 minutes.
But an own-goal from Adil Rami saw the sides go in level just before half-time.
However, it was Lyon who took the lead thanks to a strike from Houssem Aouar.
The lead lasted until the 84th minute when Konstantinos Mitroglou tapped in to make it 2-2.
However, Lyon still had a final surprise for all in attendance on the French south coast.
Depay stole the headlines when he fired in a bullet header to seal all three points for the visitors.
