SWANSEA face a huge fight to keep hold of Ki Sung-Yueng with AC Milan reportedly plotting a summer swoop.
The South Korean star is out of contract at the Liberty Stadium in June.
Ki, 29, has been unable to agree a new deal with the Swans and will therefore be available on a free.
And claim that Gennaro Gattuso is ready to offer him the chance to join the San Siro giants.
The ex-Sunderland loanee has thrived in South Wales in recent years after a difficult start to life.
He has become one of the key attacking men for the Premier League strugglers in the fight to beat the drop.
Ki has scored two goals and provided two assists so far this season to help them climb out of the bottom three under Carlos Carvahal.
Meanwhile, Milan are enjoying a resurgence under Gattuso and the Italian is expected to the handed the job permanently after impressing in his stint as caretaker.

And the 98-capped midfielder is believed to be one of his top targets.
Ki was quizzed over his future earlier this year, but insisted he was just focused on helping Swansea to secure their top-flight status.

He said: “I had a conversation with Carlos in January because I wasn’t sure about my future with only six months left on my contract.
“We had a good chat and, because I am a professional, I promised him I would work hard to the end of the season.
“I don’t want to focus on any other teams.
“I want to make sure Swansea stay in the Premier League – that’s all I want to do.
“I can think about my future after the final game of the season.
“I can’t decide now because now it is time to work for the team.”
