'A GOOD FIT'

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp would be a ‘good fit’ and could ‘do a good job’ with Bayern Munich, insists his agent

Marc Kosicke, who represents the Reds manager, has been talking up his client's credentials amid speculation Jupp Heynckes will leave the Bundesliga giants

JURGEN KLOPP’S agent believes the Liverpool manager would be a “good fit” for Bayern Munich.

The German giants are expected to be looking for a new boss this summer with Jupp Heynckes due to retire for the second time.

Bayern have courted Klopp in the past while he was in charge of Borussia Dortmund but a deal never materialised.

And his representative, Marc Kosicke, is sure that the 50-year-old would be a huge success at the Bundesliga leaders.

But Liverpool fans should not be too worried about losing their hero, who is under contract until 2022, just yet.

He told : “Coaching one of the big clubs in Europe isn't something that is unattractive, but everything has to suit.

“Yes, Bayern are looking for a coach in the summer, but Jurgen has a long contract. At the moment, Jurgen isn't thinking about coaching another club than the Reds.

“No coach in the world is bigger than any club. Generally, the club is always bigger.

“Jurgen isn't too big for Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich isn't too big for him. He definitely could do a very good job there.

“Bayern and Klopp would be a good fit, but it isn't something that is an option at the moment.”

Kosicke also went on to explain the reasons that had stopped Klopp from heading to the Allianz Arena in the past – and added that the move might never happen.
